The Arts, Hancock County presents the Annual Arts Alive! Festival on Saturday March 24, 2018 in Old Town Bay St. Louis.  The theme of this year’s festival is Interact, Participate, Create.

This rapidly growing festival highlights the burgeoning scene of artists, makers, and performers from across the region.  In keeping with our motto, Celebrating Art, Engaging Communities, Enriching Lives, the festival will include live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and artist showcases/marketplace at host locations across Old Town.

In the Artist and Artisan Showcase, dozens of regional artists will be showing, selling, and demonstrating their art at various Old Town Host Business locations.

The Juried Exhibition has expanded award categories this year representing a breathtaking collection of art across media from the the region's best artists.

New for 2018, Public Art activities will be taking place across Old Town including: beachfront beautification project, public garden mural and Steampunk sculpture build.

The Lazy Magnolia Pottery Village is back for its second year bringing to life the experience of making pottery and showcasing a wide range of ceramic arts.    Sample from craft and specialty beers from  Lazy Magnolia Brewery in the Beer Garden while listening to music from the coast's funkiest bands.

The Culinary Artisan Showcase, sponsored by Cork and Cleaver Bistro offers a chance to sample some of the best tastes from amateur and professional chefs across the Gulf Coast.

The day wraps up with the Short Film Showcase back for its second year, featuring short films created by student filmmakers.

Arts Alive! would not be possible without the generous sponsorship of  local businesses and individuals.

We appreciate everyone who helps put this event on.  If you're able to, please consider volunteering before or the day of Arts Alive!

Admission to Arts Alive is free.  A suggested donation of $5 supports The Arts, Hancock County and gets you a collectible button. Buttons are required for the Patron's Party and hands-on activities.

The festival is centered in heart of Old Town Bay St. Louis, historically recognized as an arts community. This walkable, seaside venue offers galleries, shops, and restaurants with a free-to-the-public parking garage (122 ½ Court Street). It's the perfect location for Arts Alive!
