Wall to Wall Public Art Festival
June 5-6, 2021
Join us for a weekend of community mural painting, art, music and culture. The festival will take a place at hot spot locations in Old Town Bay St. Louis, Depot District and other locations across Hancock County.
Festival Central is The Arts new community art center at 405 Blaize Ave in the Depot District. Here you'll find artist vending, demonstrations, hands on activities and live music. Mural logisitics and artist support services will all be happening here.
Art has the power to inspire social change. We believe diversity will only make our community stronger and more vibrant. We encourage area artists to share the story of our community’s diversity and cultural uniqueness through public art.
Mural Locations Needed!
We are partnering with area businesses who are enthusiastically providing their exterior walls as canvases. If you would like to have a mural painted on your wall, let us know right away. The fee to register your business is $250. The Arts, Hancock County will work with you to select the winning design for your building. We'll handle all logisitics. provide the materials and pay the winning artist a generous honoria. We are recruiting civic organizations to help juried artists with production, as needed. We will observe all COVID-19 safety guidelines.
Calling all artists
If you're thinking about participating, please fill out the mural artist registration form. The only requirement for entry is to be a member in good standing of The Arts, Hancock County. Selection of mural artists will be at the discretion of our jury committee and business owners. All materials and logistics support will be provided by The Arts, Hancock County. You will have 2 weeks to execute your mural. It must be completed during the Wall to Wall Festival June 5-6, 2021. Community groups will be available to assist you with painting if you'd like.
Once you've registered, email your submission to email@example.com. Each artist is permitted to submit up to 3 designs for consideration. The deadline for submissions is 11:59 PM May 1, 2021. Selected muralists will recieve an honoria up to $500 upon completion.
