Bring a beloved journal entry, and we will grow it into what it wants to be. You will experience basic narrative techniques, develop setting, description, dialogue, shaping, revisioning - how to get to the heart of your work. In this class you will take a raw piece of writing and learn how to shape it into a fully realized piece, whether for your own satisfaction or for possible publication. Experience group feedback on what works and what does not. Give your words the time and attention they deserve.  

You will need your journal or computer, laptop or whatever you use for writing. Paper and pens will be provided for writing exercises.
