In this 2-session class you will learn to work with oil paints as you are coached by instructor Bonnie Vallery in creating a soft and lovely seascape image. Your substrate is a panel of historic slate roof from the New Orleans French Quarter!  Your artwork will be suitable for hanging in your garden, front door, or use as a hotplate or wall hanging.  Fee for non-members is $66.00
Fee for members of Hancock Arts is $60.

All students will pay a $25 supplies fee, payable to instructor in first session. Instructor will furnish all oil paints, brushes, slates, cleaner, fixative, hardware, protective pads and protective gloves.

Your instructor, Bonnie Vallery, is a third generation artist and granddaughter of well known Maine seacoast watercolor artist Susie Wass Thompson. She was mentored by mother and grandmother, but is a self-taught painter. She has been painting in oils since 12 yrs of age and has had many pieces juried into shows all over the U.S.. Bonnie lives in Kiln, MS.
