On Dec. 21, at 6pm, we will meet at The ARTS at 405 Blaize Avenue, light up our lanterns and have our first annual HANDMADE PARADE over to Washington, then down to the picnic area at the end of Washington Avenue in Bay St. Louis.
Parade with us along the beach then sit by the bonfire and sing familiar tunes, or just enjoy the night. Or, meet us at the bonfire!
What to bring:
1. Any type Lantern (battery-operated only, prefer handmade)
2. Folding chair or blanket (drop off at the beach area prior to parade - we will have people to watch over your stuff)
3. Beverage of your choice
4. Snack to share if you like
This is a family-friendly event. No dogs please! Friends are always welcome!
We are having lantern-making workshops - for kids and one for adults.
Registration is required for parade participation as we need to let city know our number of walkers.
