2nd Annual Winter Solstice Handmade Parade & Beach Bonfire

Everyone is invited!  

We will light up the LONGEST NIGHT of the year, Winter Solstice on December 21, 6p.

Meet at The Arts, Hancock County and parade with us in our WALKING PARADE down to Washington St. for a beach bonfire, pizza, familiar tunes, and just enjoy the night. Feel welcome to meet us at the bonfire as well.

Bring your lanterns, handmade or purchased, battery powered only. Wear a costume if you like!!

What to bring to the parade:

1. Any type Lantern (battery-operated only, prefer handmade)
2. Folding chair or blanket (drop off at the beach area prior to parade)
3. Beverage of your choice
4. Snack to share if you like

This is a family-friendly event. No dogs please! Friends are always welcome!

We are having lantern-making workshops - see above.

Registration is requested for parade participation as we need to let city know our aproproximate number of walkers.
