Circular Weaving Workshop for Adults, with Cecelia Hopes

Come enjoy a relaxing day of weaving and create a circular piece of Fiber Art ready to hang - in this Circular Weaving Workshop with Cecelia Hopes - In this 4-hour workshop, you will create your own circular weaving. Students will learn how to warp a circle loom, use tapestry-weaving techniques, and experiment with various fibers to create dimension and textures. Your finished fiber piece will be ready to hang. No prior weaving experience is required. Supplies are provided to make one circle weaving from start to finish, and keep all weaving tools to continue your fiber journey!

$10 supply fee per student paid directly to instructor at beginning of class. 

Your instructor is Cecelia Hopes, artist & designer of Pink Bug Studio. Cecelia is a fiber and watercolor artist whose interest in design began very early, especially at her time at NOCCA in New Orleans. Weaving has opened a new world for creative expression that she is in love with. This medium is an escape into a textural world where her art is not on the canvas - it is the canvas.
