Are you interested in having fun shaping, cutting and stamping designs into soft clay to make a unique small bowl or gift? This class is for you! We begin with soft clay learning hand-building techniques: pinch pot, coil, and slab construction including joining clay and adding textures. Your original hand built creations will dry (for at least a week) before it will be fired in a kiln. Then you paint and glaze your work so it can be fired again. Each of the four classes is 2 hours long. Most will complete up to 5-6 pieces.
This series meets on four Wednesdays from 10am - 12pm: June 14, 21, 28, July 12 (NO class on July 5)

Your instructor is Margaret (Peggy) Inabinet. Peggy has 20 years of experience teaching art in public and private schools and 3 years of teaching private classes to adults.
