Time for Holiday De-Stressing with Neurographic Drawing *Dec 1, 6 - 9p

Want to indulge your creative juices while letting go?

     

If you enjoy drawing, have a need to re-center, and would like to indulge your creative side, then neurographic drawing is perfect for you.

·       This 3-hour workshop promises to take the stress out of the holiday season (Not too shabby)

·       Light snacks and beverages will be provided

·       No drawing skills required and all supplies are included!

·       Workshop Cost 71$ members and 78$ non-members

Bring your friends, book club, yoga buddies, family (if that’s not too stressful) and enjoy easy, fun, creating.  

Neurographic drawing was developed as a method of journeying to and exploring the subconscious through art. The therapeutic benefits are numerous, but for the purposes of this workshop, we will explore intentions, mindfulness, and self-calming as artistic outcomes.

Students Will Learn:

· Intuitive drawing

· Watercolor techniques

· Relaxation

· How to gain focus

· Mindful creating

Plus, students will gain a sense of focus and control over the stresses of the holidays.

This is a class for any level of ability or skill, and is appropriate for adults and teens ages 16+.

No specific drawing talent needed. 


About Your Instructors; Kathy & Cecelia

Kathy has graduate degrees in psychophysiology and special education. Her experience in techniques to manage stress through brain-based learning strategies is a perfect fit with the process of neurographic drawing. Since retiring from education, she has been fortunate to explore a second career in art and has taken courses from MGCCC and online artists.

Cecelia attended The Colorado Institute of Art and graduated from The Art Institute of Houston.  Her 25+ year career in graphic design, website design, and social media management has been full of creative opportunities and wonderful people, With a passion for the creative process - texture, color, natural elements, design, and composition Cecelia brings a unique and fun approach to her studio art and teaching.
