#ArtsAlive BSL 2022 Volunteer Roles:
There are a variety of volunteer roles available. A description for each of the roles is listed below. Each role is divided into shifts you can register for. Please sign up for as many shifts as you are available to work. We appreciate all that you do.
Publicity: Team members will work with the Publicity Coordinator to promote #ArtsAliveBSL prior to the festival. Beginning in April, promotional materials and signage will be placed throughout the area by this team. The Publicity Coordinator will contact volunteers when the publicity blitz begins.
Shifts: Beginning in April. You will be contacted when needed.
Registration: Team members will assist with artist & artisan registration early Saturday morning on May 21. Registration will begin at 7:30 AM at The Arts, Hancock County headquarters at 405 Blaize Avenue, Bay St. Louis.
Shift: Saturday, May 21, 2022, 7:15 AM - 9:15 AM
Artist & Artisan Showcase: This team is responsible for logistics and support for artists and artisans around the event. Members are responsible for artist placement and management.
Entertainment: The entertainment team is responsible for making sure that all performing space are equipped as needed by performers, oversee performers' set up, and ensure that performing schedule runs on time. Team members will also troubleshoot for performers as needed.
General Volunteers: This team assists with whatever is needed and wherever they are needed. These volunteers are extremely important to the success of the festival.
Information Booth: The role of this volunteer team is to provide information and support to festival visitors. Team members will hand out festival guide/map, direct people to venues and attractions, collect surveys, and solicit donations. This team will be positioned at the Information Booth on the west side of the Community Center and will also walk around the festival grounds.
Site Management: The Site Management Team serves as leads for set-up, tear-down, and other site related tasks. Members are always available and should be available on radio/walkie-talkie/phone. This team will troubleshoot problems and oversee/manage volunteers.

MakerSpace : This team will oversee set up and tear down of the demonstration area as well as troubleshoot for artists & those demonstrating as needed.

Culinary Dessert Competition: Team members will assist with dessert check-in, set-up, the dessert tasting, the tallying of scores, and clean up.
