    Come join The Arts, Hancock County for our inaugural gala at the home of Mamie Hillery.   It's the official kick-off of The Arts 2.0 Capital Campaign and a celebration of our new community arts center.  

    Join us for an amazing evening of Carnival revelry, and Mardi Gras themed specialty foods and treats.  DJ Dave Mayley will be spinning hits to keep you moving all night long.

    Dress is casual but costumes and all of your creative accessories are more than welcome.

    This form is for artists who are interested in submitting a mural design for the Wall to Wall Public Art Festival. You must be an active member of The Arts, Hancock County in order to register and  submit a mural design.  Please note, this form is for preregistration of submitting artists.  Do not submit your mural design here.  You may submit up to 3 designs for consideration.  It should be emailed to hancockarts@gmail.com by 11:59 PM Saturday May 1.

    We had to cancel Arts Alive last year due to COVID.  So we are inviting all Arts Alive 2020 registered artists to join us in the Artist Hive at the Wall to Wall Public Art Festival.  

    Come to beautiful Bay St. Louis Mississippi for the “Wall to Wall” public art festival on Saturday and Sunday June 5th and 6th.  Experience artists painting on buildings all weekend long. The festival features live music, artist vending, demonstrations, and hands-on activities for kids of all ages.  The event is free and open to the public.  It’s the Wall to Wall Public Art Festival June 5th and 6th in Bay St. Louis.     Welcome to The Arts Hancock County Youth Arts Camp

    Session 1: Fiber and Textile Arts

    Ages: 8-12

    In this session, students will explore a variety of projects and crafts related to the fiber arts.  Specific projects TBD, may include  fabric design, sewing, knitting, macramé, felting, screen printing.

    In addition to registering here, you will need to complete a health form and hold harmless agreement.  Information will be sent to you after you have registered. 

    This is one of four planned sessions for Youth Arts Camp 2021.  If minimum number of registrations is not reached for a camp session, that session will be cancelled and you will receive full refund or you may transfer to another camp session.

    In this session, students will explore a variety of painting and drawing techniques.  Specific drawing and painting disciplines may include acrylics, sketching, watercolor, and charcoal.

    In this session, students will explore a variety of theater arts. Specific theater arts disciplines may include creative writing, puppet making, voice projection, costuming, set design, and prop construction.

    Session 4: STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics)

    Ages: 8-12

    In this session, students will explore a how art is related to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Specific relationships may include fiber optics, biology, chemistry, pottery, fractals, etc., through thinking, reasoning, teamwork, investigation and creative skills.

    In addition to registering here, you will need to complete a health form and hold harmless agreement.  Information will be sent to you after you have registered. 

    This is one of four planned sessions for Youth Arts Camp 2021.  If minimum number of registrations is not reached for a camp session, that session will be cancelled and you will receive full refund or you may transfer to another camp session.
