The Arts, Hancock County presents the Annual Arts Alive! Festival on Saturday and Sunday March 23-24, 2018 in Old Town Bay St. Louis.
This rapidly growing festival highlights the burgeoning scene of artists, makers, and performers from across the region. In keeping with our motto, Celebrating Art, Engaging Communities, Enriching Lives, the festival will include live demonstrations, hands-on activities, and artist showcases/marketplace at host locations across Old Town.
In the Artist and Artisan Showcase, dozens of regional artists will be showing, selling, and demonstrating their art at various Old Town Host Business locations.
Hands-on activities will introduce people of all ages to the experience of making art and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) .
The Lazy Magnolia Pottery Village is back for its third year bringing to life the experience of making pottery and showcasing a wide range of ceramic arts. Sample from craft and specialty beers from Lazy Magnolia Brewery in the Beer Garden while listening to music from the coast's funkiest bands.
Arts Alive! would not be possible without the generous sponsorship of local businesses and individuals.
We appreciate everyone who helps put this event on. If you're able to, please consider volunteering before or the day of Arts Alive!
Admission to Arts Alive is free. A suggested donation of $5 supports The Arts, Hancock County and gets you a collectible button.
The festival is centered in heart of Old Town Bay St. Louis, historically recognized as an arts community. This walkable, seaside venue offers galleries, shops, and restaurants with a free-to-the-public parking garage (122 ½ Court Street). It's the perfect location for Arts Alive!
