Pottery Village and Beer Garden

Pottery Village

Back for a second year, Arts Alive will include a Pottery Village sponsored by Lazy Magnolia. The Lazy Magnolia Pottery Village will bring to life the experience of making pottery for adults and kids alike, showcasing a wide range of ceramic arts. 

Throughout the day, local artists will demonstrate a variety of techniques for working with clay to form beautiful and functional art. Hands-on activities for children and adults including wheel throwing and handbuilding will let you try your hand at making pottery.

A wide range of work by participating artists will be on display for sale.  The Arts Alive Pottery Village will be located on Second Street, between Century Hall and the Mockingbird CafeĢ. 

Click here to enter the Lazy Magnolia Pottery Village Artist Showcase.  Applications are due by March 6, 2018.  You must be a member of The Arts, Hancock County to be in the Artist and Artisan Showcase. Specify "Lazy Magnolia Pottery Village" as your host business.  After you have registered, we will contact you with information about participation in demonstartions and hands-on activities in the Pottery Village.


Beer Garden

New for 2018 FEB Distribution and the Mockingbird Cafe present the Lazy Magnolia Beer Garden.  Sample from craft and specialty beers from Hancock County's own Lazy Magnolia Brewery.  Part of the proceeds from beer sales benefit The Arts, Hancock County 501(c)3.  A full line-up of the coast's funkiest bands will light up the stage of the Mockingbird Cafe.
